Here's what LifeLock.com has to say about their security: "LifeLock is ISO 27001 certified for data and operational security and follows industry best practices to secure and protect personal information. We conduct background checks on all of our employees, including regular random drug testing. All of our facilities are built with the latest biometric security access as well as state-of-the-art surveillance and alarm systems. No data is stored onsite. No computers anywhere outside of secure data centers have our member's critical information on them."
Let's take a closer look at the above statement...
"No computers anywhere outside of secure data centers have our member's critical information on them."
Firstly, there is NO such thing as a secure data center. See the link below:
==>http://breach.scmagazineblogs.com
It has been determined after Chinese hackers penetrated the Pentagon that no site is safe or secure. See the link below:

Is Lifelock.com really safe and secure?
What I'm about to share with you next is truly counter productive to protecting your identity and might even upset some of you reading this. Lifelock.com will enroll you over the phone (landline or cell phone.) When you call Lifelock.com a recording tells you that your call will be recorded, then a representitive offers to enroll you (over the phone) and all he or she needs is your SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER, YOUR DRIVERS LICENSE, and YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION. Let's not forget...
- Your phone call will be recorded
- You are possibly calling on your cell phone (NOT A SECURE LINE)
- You are broadcasting your personal sensitive information
STOP. Does this sound like Lifelock.com is the #1 leader in proactive identity theft protection? They record your call with your sensitive personal information on it and have no problem doing this over an unsecure phone line? Then they take that information and store it on a supposedly "secure" data center?
What's better? Having your personal sensitive information stored on someone's data center with the hope no one hacks into it and steals your identity? Or having to NEVER give out your personal sensitive info in the first place? Which is better?
The answer is simple: Having to NEVER give it out in the first place!
Is there a service that doesn't require you to give them your sensitive personal information while giving you identity theft protection? Is there a service that doesn't ask you for for your social security number, drivers license, and credit card information? Is there a better service out there?
YES.

Why Does LifeLock.com Store Your Sensitive Personal Data?
Lifelock.com claims to offer consumers identity theft protection yet they ask you for power of attorney to set fraud alerts and request that you be removed off junk mail lists. This means that Lifelock.com has to store your personal sensitive information on their server, and that puts you at risk. Data breaches are on the rise in the United States and hackers can easily target online databases with much ease and even breach the security protocol on websites.
See Here: http://breach.scmagazineblogs.com
What type of personal information are we talking about? We're talking about your Social Security number, home address, drivers license, and credit card information.
Lifelock.com also has numerous employees. Why would you want to give your sacred personal information to anyone including an identity theft protection company claiming to protect your sensitive information when they are storing it on their data server and hundreds of employees may have access to it? Does this make sense? NO! of course not. There is a lot of information on the world wide web and HACKERS are constantly hacking into company data bases where private information is stored.
It's in the national news almost on a weekly basis where some company has been hacked into and information has been stolen for criminal use. There's a lot of U.S. citizens having their identity stolen and destroyed every single day. As a U.S. citizen you need to protect your personal identity to the fullest extent possible, and that's why this writer recommends --> http://www.lockdownmyid
LockDownMyID only asks you for your first and last name, not your personal sensitive information. That means you get to keep it PRIVATE! This insures your information is secured where it should be (with you) and not waiting for the next potential criminal to hack into a database and steal your identity at your expense. I think that's a better way to protect your identity and prevent a potential nightmare.

The Problem With LifeLock.com
The Problem With LifeLock.com
The problem with lifelock is they store their customers sensitive data on their server and allow their employees to access it as well. Even though LifeLock has security measures in place that is still putting you at risk for data breach, hacker attacks, etc. The number 2 way identity theives gain access to personal information is hacking databases. LifeLock.com is nothing more than a data bank waiting to be hacked. So what's the solution? "SECRECY." Experts agree that keeping your ID secret is the only way to stop identity theft for good. Think about it...
The government has confidentiality and classified documents so how come you can't have the same entitlement? Well, now you do because there is a brand new service that doesn't store your sensitive info (credit card, drivers license, soc sec nunmber) employees don't get to see it, it stays secret with you. This new service also goes way beyond that assisting you to extract your information from datatbases online and offline, reduce junkmail, stop unwanted phone calls, and has a unique service called "fraud alert call forwarding." yes, can you believe it? An actual service! Unlike Lifelock which is nothing more than concierge service/databank.

Identity Theft Junk
Junk is junk. Identity theft junk can be described as something that potrays itself as identity theft prevention yet puts the customer at potential risk for stolen identity. Case in point "LifeLock." Lifelock requests you to give them power of attorney over your personal identity information and then asks you to trust them while they store your info on their company server. Yes, they have security in place but everyone knows that no website is 100% secure. Having said that, why on God's green earth would anyone want to potentially leave their identity on someone else's server in hopes that it will be 100% secure there?
If you ask me no one should, but lots of people already have!
Let's see... If you had the choice between 2 identity theft prevention services and one stores your identity on their server and the other doesn't, which one would you choose? I for one would choose the one that doesn't require power of attorney.
Is there such a service? The answer is coming to a computer screen near you very soon but you can get a sneak peek by clicking on the link below...
